On Friday afternoon I headed out towards White Pass from Seattle to meet up with a team from Mid-Columbia Fishery. Our goal was to walk a section of Indian Creek at night, ID-ing and rescuing juvenile bull trout that were stuck in pools. The drive over was gorgeous, and I managed to snag my first fly-caught fish, a stunning little Brook Trout. Our team was able to rescue ~60 fish - the entire process was incredible, and made for a beautiful 36 hours in the mid-Washington wilderness!
